Mario is friends with all of the living creatures there in the place where he lives, these creatures are not natural though, they are in a way but there is clearly a difference in them.

Mario’s friends there are the animals but that’s just in looks, for they have brains like a human’s! Some of them are even bipedal and as big as humans like his friend here who was a rat and that day he was really trying to find something to eat, but there was nothing so he waited for Mario to offer him some. Escape players, Mario is about to prepare some food here for his friends, but if his rat friend here insists in being the first to eat for he is really starving, then he’ll find him something. Will you be able to help Mario here then in finding something for his friend? Get him a slice of cheese or whatever.
