But Jeremiah was looking for this colored chalk of his for it’s actually more valuable than any riches and gold there is. One of the reasons is because it produces powers which he only knows and keeps a secret, he doesn’t want that thing to fall into the wrong hands for if it does, chaos might ensue there and he will have no means to stop it.
Loosing that thing forever is the last thing Jeremiah was thinking about, for a number of factors and this is already a pretty bad nightmare for him.
