You received this creature as a gift from a strange woman you helped out in a grocery story. She had so many things with her that carrying all of them was somehow impossible. You were just about to do your own shopping but delayed it a bit as you helped her out. You helped the woman until she reached her car. It was a surprising sight to you as the car seemed to have popped out of a history book. After putting everything in the car, you excused yourself to leave.
But the woman asked you to stay for a while as she rummaged through the various stuff in her car. Then she held out the turtle to you.
