Another reason is because of the flavor, if chickens are raised in stressful environments their biology changes ever so slightly but that is enough to ruin their flavor according to the owner of the farm who was Tony.
As one of Tony’s men there, Lance is on his typical job that day in delicately separating the different sizes of chickens there for some are smaller than the rest. But as he did that though, some problem occurred and now Lance could get in trouble for this! One chick escaped and that’s not good for both him and the chick! Well that’s because the chick had been released to stressful environments now which is definitely a no for Tony, and Lance could get in trouble for this! Two is because of the supply here which was being carefully monitored, if something were to happen to it then who knows how will Tony scold him for this.
