A family’s financial troubles is getting ahead of them. They are selling their furniture and one by one, their house is emptying. Siri is scared that she will have to stop school soon but her parents and older brother reassures her that it will never happen. Paul just turned eighteen and promises her that once he gets a job, she won’t have to worry. In the meantime, the family gets their income from the two-unit apartment they’re renting out. Finally, the father decides to sell the property and got a good price for it. Soon enough, Siri makes a decision to stop achool to help out with the expenses. Her family won’t hear anything of it but Siri is a stubborn girl. She will work instead to help her family.
