Escape Fan Room 08 Escape

(99 votes, average: 4.51 out of 5)

Mitchel moved into this pretty blue house and even though he is kind of manly, he still likes it for the place kind of reminds him of the rooms of his kids when they were little. Well, he’ll just keep the place’s colors as it is for it doesn’t bother him anyways. Guess the house became quite happy with that, but it somehow presented its gratitude in a way that troubled Mitchel.

Escape players, Mitchel is now trapped in the house for he couldn’t open any doors! That is weird, but Mitchel didn’t want to let this thing bother him too much, he will try to fix this like it’s a normal thing for he just moved there and he likes the place. Would you like to help Mitchel on this then so that the situation will become a funny memory?

Escape Fan Room 08 Escape is a new point-and-click room escape game created by Ainars. Explore each location of the house and spot suspicious places to obtain various items. Solve some puzzles there in-order to get 2 pieces of the door’s lock code. This game is a continuation of the previous one as its sequel, and is a part of the first game as the start of the series.

Thank you! It’s breathtaking. Haven’t had your room games in a long time and so it feels like seeing an old friend you’ve known for a long time. Everything seems familiar, but it’s more stylish now, it’s more layered. And all the same magic of relaxation: you can relaxedly wander around the room, looking and touching everything leisurely and unhurriedly – a great vacation.
It’s excellent work.

Didn’t load there either. Must just be me. But all the others work. I tried turning off adblocker but didn’t help. Thanks though

In such a situation, I would do the following steps:

1. Clear the browser cache and restart it, naturally reloading the game page as well.
2. See if the browser is outdated and if it’s time to update its version.
3. Try to open the game in another browser on the same computer. It is best to install a fresh browser.
4. Try to open the page with the game through a proxy server. This allows you to avoid blocking in countries where censorship and copyright are rampant. The provider could block not the site with the game, but the entire server by IP address.

I sincerely don’t see why other gamemakers shouldn’t follow the example of the respected Author. I don’t want to be seen as an unsubstantiated flatterer. That’s why I’ll list the main differences:

1. Here: the careful scaling due to a first-rate knowledge of the engine.
Many gamemakers: an abysmal knowledge of the engine. As a result, you can’t maximize the game window to full width or shrink the browser window (e.g. with Aero Snap). Without scaling, the game window will not fit in the browser window.

2. Here: attention to detail, in particular to items in the inventory. You don’t need the item anymore – it disappears.
Many gamemakers: the inventory is overloaded with items that will never be needed again. Until you’ve tried ALL the items in your inventory on EVERY active zone, it’s going to take a long time. And, given that logic and most gamemakers are incompatible, their games turn into a search for a paired sock in a drawer with a bunch of socks.

3. Here: easy accessibility of active zones – they are all perfectly visible, and sometimes (as in this game) are even additionally marked.
Many gamemakers: no, we will not do so, or the players will pass our games too quickly ! We’ll create “interest” for the player by putting the active zone in the darkest place, so that the player will never guess there’s something there. Make him feel like he’s looking for a black cat in a completely dark room every time!

More could be added, but this way you could write a dissertation on “How to create games by left foot so that players hate you”.
I already wrote too much here.

Microsoft Edge Version 110.0.1587.41 (64 bits) Windows 10 works just fine. Add flash extensions, add-on from Chrome Store or Microsoft Store

What a lovely relaxing game! I’ve played this room 3 times and I love the homey atmosphere it brings. The puzzles aren’t too difficult, but what I love most about this game is the gorgeous music. It feels very nostalgic and heartwarming, I could just listen to it for hours!
Great job!

The question is not about the game to the respected Admin.

If on the main page I select a fresh comment leading to this page, then I see this comment here – the very first and on a yellow background. It is clear that this is how it should be. But when I go to this page from the main page just at the address of the game, then this commentary is not here anywhere, although as the latest it should be at the bottom of the page! I updated the browser cache – the same picture.

Question: is there something wrong with my browser or do I just have to wait and everything will get better with time?

Ah, I already figured it out. When my comment has appeared, the previous one did too.

Something odd happened to me with this game that never happend before, which is: -Pieces of the graphics of the game were missing. For instance, on the window I could not see the whole squirrel, but I could see its tail. All of the scenes had something missing. I know it all must have something to do with my computer. It is old and slow. I avoid palying certain kind of games because it feels that I am walking through mud. But it was not the case here: It was not like they were taking time to load. No! they were simply not there. I still could play the game and I did, just to see where it would take me. I didn’t find it slow, actually and I still managed to get 14 diamonds. I was also able to open a drawer with an “invisible key” (after combining the key disapeared, but it still worked somehow). But of course, at some point I coudn’t go any further and had to give up.

Dear Author, in no way do I question your decision to change the engine. Just worried and therefore want to offer you one option.
How do you look at not switching to a new engine abruptly? Maybe it makes sense to try it out on one (or even several) of your known well running games first? Let’s say you rewrite a game to the new engine and post a link for enthusiasts and testers like me. And we already test the game (also knowing how it should work) and report to you about the results.
What do you think about it?
