Rustic Modern House Escape

Luxurious houses in a typical neighborhood had started to become very common, so that’s why years ago Richard planned to get a permit so he can build his house near the lush forest but not too close to the actual reserve. Fortunately, he was allowed to for the area was still very near the suburban area and of course it didn’t come cheap. Several years later this day, Richard now lives in the place with his segmented trendy house scattered in a small area in the forest. It was very good living in the place, no pollution, no noise, and fresh-air. This is now his permanent home and moving to another place won’t be an option anymore.

One day however as Richard was passing through his front-yard after he got home from an errand, he felt something was off in the place, it’s like something had happened but he couldn’t pin-point what exactly that is, until he tried the door and it wouldn’t open! Richard used his keys and tried the other doors in the house as well, still he couldn’t open any of them and it’s like something had locked the place down. How is that though? He installed no security systems which can potentially lock the place, so he thought maybe somebody is inside.
