And here is another game from G2J that craps out with a LONG list of JS errors.
It is getting to the point that I hesitate to even load ANY games from G2J.
I don’t have this problem with any other escape games I load. Although, there are plenty that I simply don’t like their format and don’t attempt to play.
So sad that G2J can’t figure out how to make games that don’t crap out with a HUGE list of JS errors… (heavy sigh)
Brother in misfortune! I subscribe to your every word and sincerely shake your hand!
On my own behalf, I’ll add one more argument: G2J demonstrates its complete and absolute ignorance of the game engine. This is very easy to check by scaling the page: when scaled down, the game no longer fits into the window size. Have you ever seen the “Full Screen” button in their games? No, like many other game makers who have never mastered the engine on which they create their games.
This means that G2J is populated by lazy bugmakers. Of course, G2J games are enjoyed by many players. But you know, there is such a phrase: “It is useless to talk about the aroma of melon to those people who have chewed shoe insoles for years.”
My sincere apologies. The game I lambasted for JS errors (Happy Valentines Day 2024) actually worked for me without JS errors.
The one I meant to lambast was at https://escapefan.com/escape-the-polar-bear-from-cage/
I apologize for my error.
I understand you. I would be glad if I could have a reason to apologize too. But alas: ALL G2J games, after switching from the Flash engine to their current one, have the named defect.
