Lava Cave Escape

You are a geologist researching caves under a volcano in a deserted island far away from civilization. One day your devices started to indicate some signals so you set out towards a nearby cave. Eventually, you found spectacular lava rivers and solidified lava. As the place starts to fill with poisonous gases, you immediately strated to run out, but unfortunately couldn’t find the right way back. Covering your mouth, you saw a small entrance to your left and head towards it where you found something more amazing. It’s a larger space with small pools of lava but not poisonous gasses spewing out. What’s even more surprising is the lab equipment and control dashboards surrounding the center of the space. There’s no way you’re the only one in this island now.
