With your help he was able to escape and fix whatever is going-on in his place. That day, another one experienced something similar in his home but his house wasn’t new however, he was even about to leave the place and move to another home, his house was almost empty already when it happened and now that person could no longer get out of the house!
That person was Daniel and it seems like the house doesn’t want him to leave or something, for it is really sealing him in because the doors would not open no matter how he tried. This seems weird but Daniel thought he can solve this with a little help of course from you escape players, will your skills and logic be able to solve whatever is wrong in there? He only needs to escape and from then he needs to tell the new owner so that they can solve the problem whatever it is at the root.
