The nearby factory is really doing the land some bad effects, that’s because they take soil from specific areas in the place and then process it, the exhaust soils of that processes are then released back to where they got them and that’s really not doing anything good for the environment because the chemicals they add are not being removed allegedly. That’s why Lester decided to test the soil there to get some evidence and then force the closure on their activities in the area. Lester is one of those people who got menaced by their activities for he lives just at the valley below and all the water going to them through the rivers are getting polluted as well. Luckily that day, Lester got his sample but as he travels back however, he got lost because he was in a hurry!

Lester caught wind that he is being watched, so he needed to get himself out of there as quickly as possible and with him his sample.
