As Cobbie travels across the forest to reach the nearby village, a monkey which he had never seen before would not leave him alone. This monkey is a talking monkey and because he kept saying stuff, Cobbie could not concentrate on the fact that he is facing a talking monkey there. The monkey kept asking for his help and Cobbie kept refusing, thus creating the chain event that the monkey would not leave him alone.
