It made the princess hate the prince and she started a personal war against the witch. She hired mercenaries and started a witch hunt in the name of the true faith. They burnt down whole villages and killed hundreds. All because of the jealousy of a woman. Of course, the ady witch from Markel Woods was able to avoid the purge. The prince helped her and provided a safe place to hide. Unfortunately, the princess somehow found it out and is now here to end this once and for all.
