With this measure, the borderland got weaker and now enemy raids are everyday things. However, some of the local landlords are trying to secure the lands with their own militia, but they number is too small. The other nobles are not interested in investing money in border defense, they live far enough to be safe from these attacks. At least, until an organized attack won’t happen. Then they won’t know how to react and even the capital will be in danger. As a military inspector, you tirelessly visit the forts and check their state. You always make notes of the neccessary measures and send them to the court, but they never reply. Let’s hope they realise some day. Good luck!
