Shapik is the dimension where we’re at and the place is very much different from Earth. In this game though, we will be in the said dimension to join a little being which just encountered a weird problem and he doesn’t know what just happened. The being whom we will also call as Shapik is with his friend that day just roaming around the area where they live, but something emerged from an area though and it kidnapped his friend!

The last thing Shapik saw was this strange light and then his friend was gone. He really has no idea what just happened, but he is getting a bad feeling about this, he really feels like he needs to rescue his friend from somewhere and so he must. Escape players, who knows where this adventure may bring Shapik to, but to fulfill this rescue for his friend here will you help him on this?

Shapik – The Quest is a point-and-click rescue adventure game from Feig Ltd. Guide a little extraterrestrial hero and his bee friend through distant worlds and solve puzzles.

Especially to test this game, I installed a number of browsers and managed to run it, but… It wasn’t worth it. Very crude game. Yes, the graphics aren’t bad, but the idea is still the same good old Samorost. The ending even repeats the Machinarium. But… In some browsers does not start at all, in part – starts, but no sound. And it does not depend on the site – I should have checked first, I repent! Same problem with the game and on “Crazy Games”.
But even that’s not the main thing. The game has strange bugs because the author simply did not think about the possible actions of the players. And the plot does not explain it in any way. The game doesn’t hang, but it’s a dead end. Another good thing is that there is an opportunity to start over a level, not the whole game from the beginning. For example, on the level with a bridge on the sign of the three-color code for climbing. If you use it, you can’t turn the pointer, because the necessary code for descending is on the back side. On the level with the flame, entering the wrong code at the very top also leads to a lockout – start the level all over again.
Yes, I understand that with constant use of the walkthrough, everything works fine and the game looks nice and cute. But…
