As you didn’t do something that bad, you can spend the arrest at home, with the condition of not leaving the house. You were ok with this for a few weeks, but after that you got bored. You had no right to contact anyone or see anyone. So one day you decided this is unfair and that you want to escape. The house was not guarded, instead it was locked.
