All of the horses are now at their stables and John needs to ride one to the gate which was a kilometer away in his land, that’s because he needs to get to his daughter there just to guide her for it’s already dark. The stables are also far from his home even though he can see it and it’s going to take some time just to get a horse. That’s why there is only one option here, and that is the pony which was tied-up outside his porch. Well that’ll do for even though it is young, it is a breed of sturdy horses and it can definitely carry him. But there is a problem though, for John could not disengage the lock of the rope and after a while of trying, he had no choice but to just cut it. Well even then he needs to find a cutting tool so he can cut the guide rope.
