You were afraid to leave your post as it could lead to a disaster. Then again, if you guard it alone, people would still be able to enter other parts. You chose to leave your post for a while to find someone who would believe you. You were hoping they would also help you to guard the place. Even as you were away, your thoughts were on the cave. You could almost see some lights from the distance when you suddenly felt something was wrong. And again, you were caught between going the distance and finding some help or checking the place you left. The feeling of going back became stronger and you turned around. Upon arriving, you saw the cave closed.
Your heart sank at the sight and you immediately looked for the other entrances. You knew whoever entered knew nothing of the mysterious snake cave.
