The devil forest definitely has a reputation to the people who knows it, for the place is notorious for getting people lost and never to be found again! It lures people with the promise that they’ll find treasure there and some even successfully did, but most of the time they will never get out from that wilderness. Mysteries indeed surround that land, and that day Tom decided he’ll face the place with what he’s got and to conquer the thing as well that had taken his father from when he was still a boy.

Basically Tom is seeking revenge to the forest, for it indeed took his father and aside from conquering the place, he also wants to know what the forest’s potential is and how it was able to drag people to their doom.
