The desert valley here is already barren, but it got worst recently for some of the plants there have now succumbed to the heat of the sun. Christian was there that day to check the land and he now sees the damage, there is nothing he can do really, but he can record what happened to the place and present it to his superiors, maybe there is something that they can do here. But it seems that Christian needs to deal with something there first, for he got lost and he is having a hard-time trying to find his way back to camp!

The terrain changed due to the degradation of the place, that’s the main reason why he got lost for the area where he was was not familiar to him anymore. He must find his way back now and he must be careful, for he might push himself to the great barren desert here if he makes a mistake.
