how the heck is the boy girl make sense?
If you are talking about the puzzle with the boy and girl, its key can be seen in the TV. These 4 yellow figures are apparently the family as understood by the game makers. The smallest figure on the left is a girl, but also only as they understand it. The only way I could solve the puzzle without looking in the walkthrough it was to tried to changing this undefined creature from a boy to a girl.
