In the months before, stealing had been rampant in this coastal town here, most especially fish. People have been losing fish often and they blame it mostly to people who are really thieves, and cats too which are a lot in the area. That’s why people have been wrangling cats there and bringing them to distant places away from this place just to reduce their numbers. As a person who lives there, Daniel does not see this as a full-proof cure for not only they don’t have solid proof that the cats are really doing this and in a big scale, the cats could also disrupt the ecosystem where they are brought into. But Daniel cannot do anything about that now, so the least he can do is to rescue one there just to maybe make a small difference.
