For Lillian Vale, the world outside her tiny village had always been a mystery. She had grown up listening to legends of the enchanted forest, a place said to be both beautiful and treacherous, filled with glowing trees, whispering shadows, and creatures not of this world.
But the villagers had one strict rule, and that is, “never enter the enchanted forest, for those who do are trapped and never seen again.”

Lillian had always obeyed that warning—until one fateful evening, she had followed a wounded deer into the trees, hoping to help. But the moment she stepped past the stone archway, a thick mist rose around her, swallowing the path back home!

The trees whispered in a language she couldn’t understand, and the stars above shimmered in strange, shifting patterns. In all this beauty and strangeness though, she was trapped.
