The frozen fort was once a part of a giant castle but that was a long-time ago, due to the severe cold every year and occasional skirmishes, the people were forced to leave and from then the castle had been destroyed, what’s left now were the walls surrounding the place and the pine forest starting to take the grounds which was already vast in the area. One day, Marcus had journeyed pretty far just to visit the place and he expected to see some remaining structures there but when he checked, there were only very little, not enough to be studied into so he just took what little data he can find and cut his trip short, maybe returning back to the camp before the sun goes down. But his plan however is not going to be followed for something happened while he was about to leave the area.

As he approached the gates of the fort, he found chains were on it and the entire thing was locked! Who could have locked it? They might have not known about Marcus’s whereabouts here and that’s why they sealed the place.
