You always thought of faeries as creatures who could escape any harm as they had special abilities. They could just fly away from their enemies or turn them into other creatures. You even thought they granted wishes. So when you saw a faerie for the first time, you immediately closed your eyes and whispered your deepest wishes. The faerie was silent for a moment but ended up chuckling. She asked for forgiveness when she was able to breathe normally again. She said she just found you too cute whispering your wishes to her. You looked at her blankly then started questioning her about her abilities. Her face showed annoyance at your queries. Clearly, she somehow also thought granting wishes would’ve been a good addition to their abilities. She gave you a long lecture about it which made you regret asking her about it.

You became friends after that. Sometimes she would visit you in the city. Other times you would camp in a lodge in the forest.
