It seems like he lost his minds and now wants to revenge on you for something that happened many years ago. But he said that will give you a chance to try to escape, but for this you will have to be very intelligent. His house is filled with all kind of puzzles. If you manage to find them all and solve them, he will let you out. Also he told you that the main clue is about the 7 wonders of the world.
