That’s how the plunderer pirates got to the place and now the people are running to the forest escaping while they still can. As a resident of the place, Geoffrey is looking at his hometown and even though how old it is, everything there is still no match for the plunderers. Geoffrey didn’t want to let the place go but he doesn’t have the arms to defeat the invaders, so he has no choice but to escape even just for now.
Geoffrey needs to navigate out of the flooded village and hopefully he won’t be stepping on a false ground and in to deep water, also doing that without getting detected by the pirates.
