Dear Admin: the game “Easy Room Escape 197” has been released by “Amgel Escape” – fix the description and the blue button.
And generally speaking, I already wrote: something is wrong with the placement of their games on this site. On the “Amgel Escape” site their games are scaled and expand to the whole window without errors. Here – alas, no: often it doesn’t respond to clicking, because the active zone is not on the right place. Of course, it may be a matter of different CMS: they have Blogger, you have WordPress. But it is much more likely that the problem is in the description of the game window markup. I compared the windows in the code of the pages – they are different. Hence the scaling errors: the “frame” stretches incongruently with the window and therefore the game counts the wrong coordinates from it. That’s why, having realized it, I started to run “Amgel Escape” games only from their site – they don’t glitch there.
Of course, it’s up to you. But these are the sad facts.
Thank you for noticing the error in the game description!
I have tried to replicate the problem you described.
I tried different browsers and sizes of the screen, but for me, the game works well.
All clickable zones in the game are in the right places and there is no delay after click.
Do you get this problem in all browsers?
I checked in two: Cent Browser and Slimjet. But for the sake of business, I’m ready to install more browsers on my computer and test them all.
The problem is that this error is “floating”, that is, it occurs spontaneously. Of course, I’m unlikely to be able to find pages with other “Amgel Escape” games where other players complained about the same thing – no react on click sometimes. Then I was sure that the problem was in the “Amgel Escape” games themselves. After all, let’s say, at “365 Escape” games or at your games such a problem have never arisen. That was until I tried to launch and scale games directly from the “Amgel Escape” website, which I wrote about earlier.
In short, if you are really interested, I am ready to conduct research with many different browsers (naturally, FF-based too). And then talk about the results.
I checked the presence of this glitch in three common browsers: Chrome, Firefox and Edge. Yes, in them on this site I didn’t notice any problems with the game when zooming. Nevertheless, the fact that my browsers (Cent and Slimjet) glitch on this site, but do not glitch on the site of the authors of the game, remains incomprehensible.
Unfortunately, the weak functionality and other shortcomings of the most common (yet highly overrated) browsers make it impossible to switch to them even for the sake of this site.
