Though respected, he longed for something more. Stories of vast lands beyond the town’s gates filled his dreams. He wanted to see mountains, rivers, and distant kingdoms.
One evening, as the sun dipped behind the cliffs, Othric packed his tools and approached the great stone gate. Its ancient mechanism had not moved for generations. Runes etched into the rock whispered secrets of those who had once passed through.
The time has come to leave safety behind and embrace the unknown. But first, he needed to unlock the gate’s secrets.
