Their destination: the Lost Estate of Lord Kelly, a place whispered about in hushed tones throughout the region. This elegantly crafted quest, in the genre of 100 doors and escape from the room, offers a splendidly absorbing journey through the hidden passages and grand rooms of the estate. Error.
For me, the game works without any errors in the latest versions of Chrome, Opera, Brave, Firefox, and Edge browsers.
I assume that the problems are related to access. Even trying various proxy doesn’t always help.
For some reason, it’s related to games with a such mini-icon in the center when starting the game. I had about the same thing with the game “Abandoned University Escape (YolkGames)” and the latest games from Games4King.
Well, if I’m the only one with these problems, then so much the better – no big loss.
Having tried a bunch of browsers, I found one that launched the game. And you can be sure that it was not Chrome. Another creation of the mysterious China (as Cent Browser) coped – my former favorite among browsers, Maxton. And Chrome once again proved its uselessness and complete impotence.
The point is not just to be able to launch the game – you still have to open it first! And the reaction to launching in a “clean” browser is “Blocked” in the page title. The reason is simple: the site “html5.gamedistribution.com”, where the game is located, is blocked. Why – I have no idea.
Therefore, the game had to be opened through a very smart proxy extension, which does not let EVERYTHING through the proxy, but only according to the user’s mandatory list. A regular VPN is even less suitable. Previously, the excellent “FreeGate” extension did this skillfully, but it was banned. Now the “Censor Tracker” extension copes tolerably well. But… Chrome installs this extension, however… it doesn’t work in it. The same “Blocked” in the title. The browser doesn’t understand its own extension.
But the Chrome-like Maxton managed: it understood the extension and launched the game.
As for Chrome, Firefox and Edge… It’s probably good to live in an ideal country of Pink Ponies and Rainbow Unicorns. In it, officially accepted browsers work as they should. However, in countries where you need to block ads and unblock Internet access, real working browsers created in such countries are much more useful.
By the way, if the game’s authors are so fond of scientific facts, they should have given them in full.
So, it takes 17 muscles to smile, 43 muscles to frown, and only a couple – to punch an annoying face.
