Most of what humans create just stay behind like this. After they run out of their lifetime, we just leave them. In most cases they stay in this world longer, than we do. Buildings, clothes, cars. They will be around for a while even after the extinction of the human race. Take this vehicle graveyard for example. Its owner died in the 80's and ever since that it's been closed. The cars still lie here, nobody think about them anymore. You only came here because it's close to your home and you needed some walk. Needed some time alone, to think about existential questions like "What do we live behind after we're gone?".
