Undersea Treasure Escape

Speaking of which, your ship ran into a storm last night and drifted off-course. This morning, something scratched the bottom of the ship, so you took the scuba-diving suit and jumped in the water to check out the damage. Luckily, it was just a scratch. You came to discover that the water was really shallow here, even though there wasn’t an island nearby (well, there must have been long, long time ago, but it sank). What you saw next, was amazing. The object that hit the ship, was another ship! An old cargo, from about the 18th century maybe. You even saw shiny coins ont he bottom. Is it possible that you found an undersea treasure?
