Your parents were always reminding you to leave the gifts alone until Christmas. But you haven’t received any birthday presents this year so your hands are itching to open one. However, you have to abide by the rules or else you won’t be opening any of them. So everyday, you just pass by the tree closer and closer until you can see who they’re for. Then again, your parents were really strict with their rules that you end up having boundaries. You find it quite fun actually but totally frustrating as well. Then one day, you see your grandpa placing his gift under the tree. You asked him who’s it for. He looked at you and replied that it’s yours.
You jumped up and down as you thank your grandfather. He laughingly patted your back and reminded you to wait. Then comes Christmas day. Everybody was so busy finding and opening their gifts. You don’t want to be left behind. So you hastily find yours as well. However, your grandpa’s gift for you wasn’t there. And so your search for it began.
