The group of friends want to verify the claims so they explore the forest. They have a rope around their wrist so they won’t separate while inside the forest. However, someone or one of made thinks it’s funny to cut the rope. None of them’s prepared for this kind of situation. So they end up wandering inside the forest until this day hoping to find each other. The forest in the story is the same forest you’ll be exploring. You don’t have any of your friends with you as this is not their thing. And you can’t sacrifice what you love just because other people don’t like it. You start with your adventure while keeping the wandering friends in mind.
You’re thinking at least they’re doing what they love even after life. The story doesn’t scare you. But goosebumps appear on your skin. You want to find out what happened to them. If they really just died trying to find each other. Or they were all able to get out of the forest and lived. The story ends there and you can’t live with it.
