Roch’h Arnev Island played an important role in the history of the trade route. It was a strategic point where the local garrison could secure the route from pirates and enemies. However, this fort had also fallen once like most of the forts in history. It happened on a dark night of December. A traitor who happened to be on guard of the gate, left it open on purpose for a small team of enemy scouts. They infiltrated the fort and neutralized the garrison slowly, step by step. From this point, the island could never regain its previous importance it had had.
