They usually set up cages around to capture some animals, then play with them. They don’t really like keeping animals in captivity or else they won’t be on Santa’s good list. So instead, they just play with them and let them go after a while. You always warn them to be more careful. And if possible to just stop using the cages and catch the animals with their bare hands. But you know well that kids don’t really listen well at times. So you still see the cages lying around. Sometimes you even stumble on them. Yet it’s still okay if it only bothers you. The problem though is that these contraptions also catches other creatures. And they find it hard to escape every time.
Fortunately, while you’re walking towards Santa’s house, you see the cage rattling. You sigh as you’re thinking the kids must’ve have forgotten to set another animal free.
