John lets Jessica sign first and the name she uses surprises John. Jessica uses the name Pat Garvish without knowing that John has a detailed idea of the history of the name. However, he just acts cool so as not to arise any suspicions from Jessica. Then again, John can’t be fully comfortable with this. Jessica was so adamant at sharing the space which makes John think that there must be something here. He already has plans of scrutinizing the place. But to do that, he must come into this agreement with Jessica or he might not be able to come to the place. Meanwhile, Jessica seems innocent about all these.
If she has any idea, she sure is great at hiding it and playing along. John postpones the signing on his part of the document in case Jessica uses it against him.
