It knocked you out. When you regained your consciousness, your skin was burning. It was already morning and the sun was shining brightly. A vampire should be home sleeping at these hours. It will be a real torture to get home. You took off a coat to cover yourself on the street. The door is locked unfortunately. Flying out the window is out of the question, so you have to open the door. Good luck and hurry up before someone catches you!
