The legendary blue parrot is back! This animal is so important in our history that even the city’s coat of arms shows him. Legend says, when the Ottomans were about to invade our town, our captain managed to set up a little army of our men, but their numbers were few. When everything seemed hopeless, the captain saw a vision. A blue parrot appeared and led him to a hill and showed him how to beat the enemy. The captain brought his army to the hill and when the Ottomans launched the offensive, they were slowed down by the marsh which surrounded the hill. From the high ground, the captain could rain arrows at the enemy, who started to panick and scattered away. People now say they have seen the parrot again. You have to check it!
