As it turns out it was a networking gig but not the usual get-rich scheme. This time it was different, you were impressed by the business model presented by one of the staff. You were inclined to join the team so you promised to pay in the processing fee for membership. When your membership got approved, you were then invited to a party hosted by the company’s founder and CEO; a toast to the company’s growing affluence.
